Hi !
My name is Nérée De Visscher. I was born in Belgium but moved to Switzerland when I was 10 years old. After studying "Costume Construction" at "The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama." in London for one semester, I moved back to Belgium where I am currently studying jewellery design in the hope of one day starting my own clothing and jewellery business.

Besides creating costumes, I like drawing, painting and working with clay, skills I use to create unique props to go with my costumes. I also love singing and performing on stage. I train at the "Conservatoire de Vevey" where I learn opera and musical techniques and I have been playing the piano for several years now.
Finally, I really enjoy dancing and ice skating and I've created multiple of my own ice skating dresses for shows and competitions over the years. You can check them out on the blog ;)

I have always been passionate about costumes, as a child I already dreamed of making them myself. When I was 13, I bought my first sewing machine and gave it a try... I recreated Merida's dress from the Disney film "Brave" without any patterns or guidelines. Against all expectations I managed to create something more or less wearable ;-) and it encouraged me to go on and learn a lot more.
I have never stopped since!
